Psychiatric Disorders Section

One of the core section of the Social Services Hospital that provides comprehensive and integrated mental healthcare based on accurate scientific assessment and individualized treatment plans implemented in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team. The section aims to improve patients’ mental health, enhance their capacity for independence, and support their positive integration into society.

Adopted Therapeutic Approach

The section follows an integrated therapeutic approach that addresses psychological, behavioral, and social aspects through the following:

● Conducting a comprehensive initial psychological assessment to accurately identify each patient’s needs.
● Developing individualized, integrated treatment plans that are regularly reviewed and updated.
● Providing individual and group psychotherapy sessions based on established scientific principles.
● Implementing behavior modification programs and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
●Utilizing recreational therapy, both indoor and outdoor, as a supportive treatment modality.
● Implementing occupational therapy programs through simple manual and vocational activities.
● Promoting social interaction among patients and developing communication skills and positive relationship-building.
● Ensuring daily follow-up and continuous evaluation of cases to maintain stability and achieve gradual improvement.

The section’s psychologists are committed to providing compassionate psychological support that respects each patient’s privacy and individual circumstances, with the aim of:
